The current offer will apply to all new business until 13 December 2024. Cases in the pipeline as at 23 September 2024 will qualify for the current offer. All documents must be completed and we must receive it within the offer period. We must allocate the money to the investment by 17 January 2025. Only new Fixed Annuities written during this period will qualify for the current offer. At the end of the six months, the income will revert to the quoted annual amount plus escalations (if applicable). Tax will be calculated based on the total annuity payment including the additional income. In the case of a joint-life annuity, if one of the annuitants dies in the first six months of the policy, the additional 20% income will continue to be paid out, but only on the continued annuity in payment. In the case of a single-life annuity, the additional 20% income will fall away on the death of the annuitant, regardless of the guaranteed term.
