You can change your Discovery Insure debit order date by calling us on 0860 751 751 or send us an email at insureinfo@discovery.co.za. To check which day you've already chosen, download your latest plan schedule.
You can update your details and cover in one of three easy ways:

Update your details as soon as they change to make sure you have the correct cover in place.
To change your banking details with Discovery Insure, please speak to your financial adviser, email us at insureinfo@discovery.co.za or call us on 0860 751 751, Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 18:00, or Saturday from 08:00 to 13:00.
To change your car and home insurance plan, email us at insuremaintenance@discovery.co.za or speak to your financial adviser.
You can access your car insurance cross border letter from our website, Discovery app or email us at
insuremaintenance@discovery.co.za or call us on 0860 751 751 during office hours.
Cover on your motor vehicle is limited to insured event which take place in countries listed below:
* Republic of South Africa
* Namibia
* Botswana
* Zimbabwe
* Lesotho and Swaziland
* Mozambique
* Malawi
* Zambia
* Angola
* Kenya
* Tanzania
* Rwanda
* Democratic Republic of Congo
If your plan lapses or gets cancelled, your motor vehicle territorial cover no longer applies.

Yes, you can reduce your basic excesses on the Core Plan by paying an additional premium. However, there is a minimum excess that you must have. Please look at the Excess Annexure for more information.
The night driving excess applies for accidents that occur between 23:00 and 04:30 when you are driving the vehicle. If your vehicle is not being driven, then this excess will not apply to you.
