Health Pay allows Discovery Health Medical Scheme members to instantly settle medical co-payments at pharmacies like Clicks and Dis-Chem, hospitals and medical service providers.
All you have to do is link your Discovery Health Medical Scheme membership to your debit or credit card with Discovery Bank, and voilá! Paying is made easier than ever. Just pick up your medicine and we'll take care of the rest. You can even set a limit to the maximum amount you're happy for us to pay automatically.
How does Health Pay work?
When you set up Health Pay on the Discovery Bank app and visit a pharmacy like Clicks or Dis-Chem, a hospital or a medical service provider, you can opt to pay your out-of-pocket medical expenses with Health Pay. Your selected account will be debited instantly, and you'll receive a transaction notification. Then simply skip the queue to pay and be on your way!
How do I activate Health Pay?
To activate Health Pay, simply:
- Log in to the Discovery Bank app and tap More.
- Tap Health Pay.
- Accept the terms and conditions and tap Set up.
- Select the card you want to link and your transaction limit. Tap Next.
- Tap Complete.
