Your vaccination journey

Click on each step to see what it entails

Step 1: Get vaccine ready and register for your vaccination

Register on the national Electronic Vaccination Data System (EVDS).

Our Vaccination Navigator will support you to book for your COVID-19 vaccine at one of our partners, Clicks or Dis-Chem.

Step 2: Book for your vaccination

You receive an SMS from the EVDS with your vaccine code and the location of your vaccination site.

Alternatively, you can choose to make a booking at one of our partners. A full list of vaccination sites is available on the sacoronavirus portal.

Step 3: Get your vaccination

On the day of your vaccination, here is what you can expect:

  1. Make sure you have your identity document or passport, and medical scheme membership card on hand. It is important to note that you will still be able to register if you do not belong to a medical scheme.
  2. Please stay seated until it's your turn to be vaccinated.
  3. At the vaccination station you will complete a short pre-vaccination medical questionnaire and grant consent to be vaccinated. The vaccinator will then administer your vaccine.
  4. Relax in the observation area for a minimum of 15 minutes.
