Discovery Miles are becoming more rewarding than ever

A new year is on the horizon - and to match it, we've got loads of great updates - all exclusively for Discovery Bank clients! Here's what to expect in 2023 from the most rewarding bank in South Africa:

Discovery clients get rewarded for driving well and spending responsibly. If you are a Discovery Insure client with Vitality Drive and a qualifying Discovery Bank product, you can earn up to 17,000 Discovery Miles a month when you fill up at bp and Shell.

You can currently get up to 20% of your fuel and Uber spend back in Discovery Miles when you pay with your Discovery Bank credit card, that's up to Ð2,000 from Vitality Money:

And from next year, Vitality Drive members who are Discovery Bank clients with Vitality Money will be able to get their fuel cash back rewards paid in Discovery Miles. That's up to Ð15,000, based on the lower of your Vitality Drive points and qualifying fuel spend.

While Vitality Active Rewards will continue to be available on the Discovery app and will continue to work in the same way for Vitality clients, we are bringing an enhanced Vitality Active Rewards experience to the Discovery Bank app - exclusively available to Discovery Bank clients.

So what's different with the new, enhanced Vitality Active Rewards on the banking app? Well, Discovery Bank clients will soon:

• Experience a brand new Vitality Active Rewards with bespoke new features like personalised gameboards, extra rewards for increased engagement and so much more.
• Get even more personalised and dynamic weekly goals across each of the Vitality programmes
• Get a new simpler points system to help you easily track your progress towards goals
• Get instant rewards when achieving your goals - or wait for Rewards Wednesday to play the gameboard and earn Discovery Miles.

Discovery Bank, through our Vitality Money programme, rewards clients for positive changes to their financial behaviours.

Life insurance ensures that clients have the cover they need to protect them and their loved ones in the event of death, disability or illness. That's why we've introduced Life Integrator Miles to reward clients who've taken steps to protect their financial well-being through a Discovery Life policy.

With Life Integrator Miles, clients with a Bank Integrated Discovery Life policy can earn up to 7.5% of their Discovery Life debit order back in Discovery Miles every month.

To qualify, you need to:

• Be a Discovery Bank client
• Have a qualifying Discovery Bank Credit Card Account or Suite
• Pay for a Discovery Life Bank Integrated policy from your Discovery Bank account by debit order.

The reward is based on a client's Discovery Bank product type, card colour, Vitality Money status, and qualifying credit card spend in the previous month. Clients can view their rewards percentage in the Discovery Bank app by scrolling through their rewards carousel.
