Another great way to earn Discovery Miles

At Discovery Bank, we want to help our clients manage their money better. That's why we reward them through Vitality Money when they have essential financial products like insurance and retirement savings in place.

We're proud to announce another new benefit that recognises and rewards clients for taking care of their long-term insurance.

Here's how it works

If you're a qualifying Discovery Bank client with a Discovery Life Bank Integrated policy, you can earn up to 7.5% of your debit order premium back in Discovery Miles every month when it's paid from your Discovery Bank account.

We call the Discovery Miles you accumulate Life Integrator Miles. You get Life Integrator Miles based on your Discovery Bank product type, card colour, Vitality Money status, and qualifying credit card spend in the previous month. You can view your reward percentage in the Discovery Bank app, by scrolling through your rewards carousel.

And you don't have to do anything. You'll get rewarded with your Life Integrator Miles in real time when your Discovery Life Bank Integrated policy debit order goes through successfully.

Here's how you can make bank on your life insurance:

Step 1: Switch your Discovery Life premium debit order to Discovery Bank

Here's how you can switch your Discovery debit orders to your Discovery Bank account:

• Log in to the Discovery Bank app.
• Tap More on the home screen and select Debit orders.
• Tap Switch Discovery debit orders and follow the steps.

Step 2: Upgrade to a Discovery Bank Credit Card Account or Suite

You can see if you qualify for a product upgrade in the Discovery Bank app:

• Tap Accounts, then the menu in the top-right corner.
• Select Add account then Credit Card Account.
• Choose a Discovery Bank Credit Card Account or Suite, complete your information and tap Get this.

Step 3: Upgrade your card colour

Your card colour determines your maximum reward percentage:

• Gold: Up to 2.5% back
• Platinum: Up to 3.5% back
• Black: Up to 5% back
• Purple: Up to 7.5% back

You can see if you qualify for a colour upgrade in the Discovery Bank app:

• Tap Accounts.
• Tap the menu in the top-right corner.
• Select Change account colour.
• Complete the relevant information and submit the request to see which accounts you qualify for.
