Vitality Running World Cup: Help South Africa to win - and so could you!
The countdown has begun for the Vitality Running World cup which kicks off officially on 21 September 2021 and the age old saying "team work makes the dream work" has never rung more true.
Getting South Africa to the finals will require a group effort and there's no better leader than Olympian and country captain, Wayde van Niekerk. If you're in good health, you can participate in this global, mass-participation event - which is open to anyone 13 years and over, no matter how fast or how far you can run. Simply download the Vitality Running World Cup app and register to run for your country.

Here's how you could win the grand prize:
- Register on the Vitality Running World Cup app and join Team Vitality SA
- Link an approved fitness device to the Vitality Running World Cup app
- Log a minimum 3km run within 30 during the tournament (21 September - 10th October) on the VRWC app. These runs will count towards your country's goals, plus you will get to vaccinate a child against polio for every weekly goal completed on the VRWC app.
- As a Discovery member you will get 2 entries into the prize draw, Vitality members will get additional 5 entries and as a Team Vitality member you will get a further 10 entries
- The more you run, the more entries you'll receive into the draw.
- One lucky winner will be selected by the 18th October 2021.
We're going for a Guinness World Record
Make sure you are one of 1 million people running virtually together on 25 September 2021, join us and complete a 5km run. You will have to log your run on the Vitality Running World Cup app by linking an approved fitness device. Remember: qualifiers for the first round of the Vitality Running World Cup end 26 September 2021, so let's try get South Africa to the next round of tournament.
