We’ve done more than maintain our website and the Discovery app to keep allowing you to manage your health plan, find a healthcare provider in our network, submit claims and find important documents.

DrConnect for video calls with a doctor

While COVID-19 has been dominating the news, you still need medical care for other medical conditions. DrConnect allows you to have a video consultation with a doctor. The doctor will be able to give you medical advice, prescribe medicine, follow up on how treatment is working, or tell you to come in to see them if necessary. This is not only convenient, but helps to make sure you only go to your doctor’s rooms when it’s really necessary.

If you’re using DrConnect for the first time, open the Discovery app, choose Medical aid and then choose Ask a doctor under Healthcare Providers. This will open the DrConnect app. To have a virtual consultation, open the DrConnect app and choose Talk to a doctor.
