Complete your health checks goal and earn rewards
The first step to getting healthier is knowing how healthy you are and what you need to do to next.
Your health checks goal is tailored to your unique health profile. It helps you manage your health by completing a clinical checklist of important and relevant screening and preventive tests and assessments. These health checks include completing the Vitality Health Check as well as other checks based on your age, gender and personal health profile. Learn more about your health checks goal.
Complete each health check within the recommended time frame to achieve your health checks goal and earn Vitality reward points. You can spend your reward points on exciting rewards of your choice. You can choose to spend your reward points immediately or save them for even bigger rewards.
How to access your health checks goal
- Download the latest version of the Discovery app on your Apple or Android mobile device.
- Activate Vitality Active Rewards to access your health goals.
- Open the health checks goal to view the list of clinical activities you need to complete.
- Take note of when you should complete your health checks.
- Make sure we get proof of your completed health checks as indicated on the Discovery app.
Your exercise goal is one of your personalised health goals
Each week, you get a personalised exercise goal, based on your health status and physical activity levels. Your weekly goal is dynamic and adjusts up and down based on your goal achievement over previous weeks.
To achieve your weekly exercise goal, you need to earn a certain number of Vitality fitness points by working out at our fitness partners or by tracking your activity using Vitality-linked fitness devices. Learn more about how to achieve your exercise goal.
How to access your exercise goal:
- Download the latest version of the Discovery app on your Apple or Android mobile device.
- Activate Vitality Active Rewards to access your health goals.
- View how many fitness points you need to earn to achieve your exercise goal.
- Complete workouts at our fitness partners or track your activity using Vitality-linked fitness devices to earn fitness points. Learn more about how to earn fitness points.
You have from Saturday to Friday midnight to complete your exercise goal. When you achieve your exercise goal, you will earn a play on the gameboard to earn Vitality reward points to spend on exciting rewards of your choice.

Get rewarded for protecting your health
Discovery Vitality members can earn up to 20 000 points by doing a Vitality Health Check at an accredited Vitality Wellness Centre, a Vitality Wellness Network pharmacy, a Discovery Store or a Discovery Wellness Day. This screening includes checking your blood pressure, blood glucose / HbA1c, cholesterol, weight assessment and smoking habits.
