Help a young girl child stay in school with Vitality MoveToGive and Dis-Chem Foundation

Our latest initiative is a partnership with the Dis-Chem Foundation and Elle Cup on the Million Comforts campaign to provide sanitary products to teenage girls in need.

The Dis-Chem Million Comforts campaign is committed to the empowerment of school girls, raising awareness about women's health and giving these girls the opportunity to continue their education without the burden of hygiene risks, discomfort, embarrassment or the loss of dignity.

Last year, your MoveToGive donations funded over 80 000 sanitary packs, and with your help, we can increase this number in 2019.

Whether you choose to get active, or drive well, achieve your Vitality Active Rewards goal, play the gameboard and spend your Vitality reward points on the Vitality MoveToGive reward option on the Discovery app. You'll have access to these donation choices:

• You can donate a pack of Stayfree sanitary pads to a young girl in need for 25 Vitality reward points.
• With 40 Vitality reward points, you can contribute towards educating young girls about sustainable women's health.
• With 100 Vitality reward points, you can donate a packet of Stayfree sanitary pads to a young girl for six months.
• With 250 Vitality reward points, you can donate an Elle menstrual cup package to a young girl in need.

Your contribution will go a long way in helping improve the overall health and wellbeing of girls in our country with many positive knock-on effects, including promoting gender equality.
