Purple Plan clients have a dedicated Service Executive to help them with anything they need.

Flexible Portable Possession

Purple Plan clients receive wider and greater cover under the general clothing and personal effects section of cover under portable possessions.

You have the freedom to choose a total sum insured for general clothing and personal effects cover. The maximum cover per item is 25% of the general clothing and personal effects sum insured, limited to R150 000 per item.

Multi-vehicle cover

Purple Plan clients who own several cars but only drive one at any time, have the opportunity to reduce their car premiums considerably by choosing this benefit. You can choose which of your cars are to be covered under this benefit and, once chosen, your premium will be reduced as you will only pay the accidental damage premium for one car instead of all your cars covered by this benefit.

Cellphone Upgrade

Purple Plan clients qualify for an upgrade to the latest Apple or Samsung cellphone every 12 months.

To qualify, you need to have at least 2 cars insured, with both household contents and building cover with Discovery Insure. You also need to remain claim free for the latest 12-month period on the Plan (except SOS and windscreen claims).
