How it works

With Vitality Active Gear, Vitality Health members get as much as 50% off a qualifying fitness device and Nike performance gear. Plus, you can get up to 25% off for having a qualifying Discovery Bank product and managing your money well with Vitality Money. That's a total potential saving of up to 75% off if you belong to both Vitality programmes.

The activation fee is currently waived and there are no benefit cards - and clients with Vitality Active Rewards have immediate access to Vitality Active Gear.

How to get your maximum upfront discount

Your maximum upfront discount depends on your engagement with the Vitality Health and Vitality Money programmes.

To get up to 50% off from Vitality Health:

• 10% off when you activate Vitality Active Rewards in the Discovery app.x
• 25% off when you complete a Vitality Age and Vitality Health Check or Virtual Vitality Health Check-in.
  • You and your spouse must complete both assessments once every 12 months to qualify for the maximum upfront discount.
• 50% off when you achieve your Vitality Active Rewards exercise goals. You get a 5% boost for every five goals you achieve to a maximum of 25%.

To get up to 25% off from Vitality Money:

• 25% off when you have a qualifying Discovery Bank product and manage your money well with Vitality Money. Your upfront discount is based on your Discovery Bank product type and card colour, on your Vitality Money status and on your qualifying credit card spend from the previous month, and your account must be in good standing.
