2. Curated ice cream selections for a sweet pre-flight indulgence. Savour the flavours of Roska Artisan Ice-cream at The Lounge by Discovery and SAA. Get scoops of homemade bliss from 14 to 24 December at our domestic departure lounges in Cape Town, King Shaka and OR Tambo airports.
3. Exclusive art, featuring Nelson Makamo's inspiring works, adding a cultural touch to your journey. This December, Discovery and South African Airways are proudly displaying an art collections by renowned South African artist, Nelson Makamo, at select The Lounge locations. Visitors will get a chance to see Makamo's iconic Vision of a limitless future, which graced on the cover of Time magazine in 2019. This special Time issue was dedicated to 'The Art of Optimism' and guest-edited by American filmmaker Ava Duvernay.
Makamo's work invites people to reflect on the beauty and complexity of South African society.
