Described by colleagues as a heroine, Cathy Harris executes her role with remarkable passion and a zest for life, despite her many challenges, she’s a go-getter who doesn’t believe in quitting. With a career spanning 16 years at Discovery, Cathy has experienced it all.
The ability to inspire others begins with inspiring yourself
Cathy is an executive PA worth her weight in gold. Her many accolades are testament to how she still manages to soldier on being a wife, a mother, a grandmother, a breadwinner, a mentor and sounding board to her colleagues and management.
She’s also a devoted believer in serving God, which she says inspires her to be extraordinary every day of her life.
Striving to achieve excellence in everything she does
Cathy is the consummate professional who motivates and inspires others. Her passion in empowering young and up-and-coming Personal Assistants through her training and books has led to her being invited as a speaker at both national and international events.
Turning the negatives into positives
Despite her busy schedule Cathy still finds the time to be a wife, a mother and a grandmother to her 4-year old granddaughter, and a set of identical triplet grandsons.
She feels like she’s the most blessed person on earth and finds her strength in her faith in God and her family which she loves dearly.
Your job is not just a job, it’s what you make of it
Cathy believes routine is dull and boring, and that doing things with enthusiasm and purpose, makes all the difference. She believes that although she isn’t a product builder, an actuary, or CA, she is the daily dose of inspiration and motivation to her colleagues.
